"Gracie, our 16 yr old greyhound agrees that Dr Clary is the best."
- owner Jean Desmond.
"I don't want to let another day go by without expressing my deepest appreciation for your kindness and your willingness to do what other veterinarians don't consider doing: give a dog the possibility of going home - at home. Your presence was very soothing to all of us. Your visit was a gift, on many more levels than you could imagine. Thank you for being genuine, kind, and... a hippie :) I would consider myself very, very lucky to have a friend like you."
- Gabriela Bieri and Robert Adams
"Absolutely the most caring compassionate vet in St. Louis. My 2 cats Emi and Bella wouldn't go anywhere else!"
-Brenda Minge"
I can't say enough about this vet and the service she provides. We've been using Mobile Veterinary Service for the last several years. We have multiple dogs/cats and see Dr. Clary at least a few times a year (most recently yesterday).
I find Dr. Clary knowledgeable and easy to talk to. She truly cares about the welfare of my animals.
When I first used this service, I was concerned it would cost a fortune. As it turns out, the difference between an office visit at my old vet's office and the home visit is not that much. Over the years I actually feel I've saved money, since Dr. Clary does not automatically push either the most expensive option or unnecessary procedures (the way I always feel vet offices do). I have no doubt my animals are the number one priority. I trust Dr. Clary's honesty and integrity.
For anyone who has read this far, I will share a story. This is the way Dr. Clary is. In May, 2013 it was time to put our 65 lb. mixed-breed dog Bart down. Dr. Clary had cared for him for a couple of years before that. She's managed his pain very well. When he could no longer walk in November of 2012, he was still happy, he just couldn't walk. I wasn't ready to end his life while he was still enjoying many things. Dr. Clary answered questions about harnesses, braces, carts, etc. and was very interested in whether or not he was suffering.
When the day came, I called Dr. Clary at 10:00 a.m. (trying not to cry). She was able to come at 1:00 p.m. the same day. We had Bart on our bed. My wife and I were taking turns lying with him and comforting him. When Dr. Clary came into the room, he just raised his head and looked at her then put his head back down.
He knew her and liked her. The end was very peaceful and comforting. No stressful trip to the vet. No taking him into the vet's office and putting him on a cold metal table. He died in the bed he slept in. The visits for all of the animals for all of the visits are much less stressful, but Bart's final visit is the one that really drove that home for me. I don't believe anyone considering using Mobile Veterinary Service and Dr. Clary will be disappointed if they give them a try!"
